Anand Engineering College Agra in association Health Department Agra organized a free COVID-19 vaccination camp for its students, employees and their family members. The Vaccination camp was inaugurated by Dr. Shailendra Singh Director AEC. On this Occasion He said that the main aim of this Vaccination Camp is to ensure 100 percent vaccination among all students and employees of the College. More than 100 people got their Vaccination in this camp.
Tablet Distribution @ AEC
The “Tablet Distribution Ceremony” was held at Anand Engineering College Agra. B.Tech and MBA Final year students received the free tablets under Digishakti scheme -2021 launched by U.P Government for the technical upgrade as a part of ICT based education.
Shree Rajkumar Chahar, Honourable Member of Parliament, Fatehpur Sikri was the Chief guest of the Event and Mrs Renuka Dang, famous industrialist and Social Worker was the Guest of Honour.

Fresher’s Party
The students of Anand Engineering College, Agra organized a Freshers’ Party on Dec 18, 2021 to welcome the new Batch of 2021. The purpose of the Freshers Party was to make every new student feel connected as an integral part of the ANAND family and be ready to take on the challenges of the year ahead. Jovial smiles and high spirits marked the welcome party for the new students. The party was organized at Sir C V Raman Auditorium. It manifested youth and enthusiasm at its best.
As a trend of the Institute, the party began with the auspicious lamp lighting ceremony and prayers to Goddess Saraswati. Dr. Shailendra Singh, Director inaugurated the Event by welcoming the students through his motivational speech. Mr. Dharam Singh, Registrar welcomed all new students and said that fresher’s party is all about creating everlasting relationships with each other. Such events are an indication of union among the students.
Pulsating ambience, flashing lights and foot-tapping music, set the mood of the party right. The excitement augmented to a joyful high as performances graced the stage. Guest Lecture on Solar Energy
Anand Engineering College Agra has organised a guest lecture on Solar Energy. The speaker was Dr Chetan Singh Solanki from IIT Mumbai.
Dr. Shailendra Singh, Director of the College welcomed Dr. Solanki by presenting a bouquet. He said that Dr. Chetan Singh Solanki, a professor from IIT Bombay, brand ambassador of Solar Energy for Govt. of MP, and Founder of the Energy Swaraj Foundation is a well known Environment activist who has pledged not to go home until 2030 and live & travel in the solar bus.
In his speech Dr Solanki said that Energy Swaraj – an Essence of Sustainability Energy is Everything and Everything is Energy. Gandhiji’s statement that “Earth has enough for everybody’s need but not for anybody’s greed” is as fundamental as the fact Sun rising from the East. However, in contradiction, the world economies are increasingly trying to produce more and consume more. This contradiction is fuelled mainly by fossil energy(80-85%), leading to another contradiction wherein increasing energy consumption is required to maintain economic growth, while rampant use of fossil energy is causing climate change. Climate change is threatening not only sustainable life but the sustainability of life on the planet. We have only 8-10 years left before we reach global warming of 1.5oC (IPCC report). Therefore “drastic” and “immediate” actions are required to mitigate climate change. The solution lies in adopting Energy Swaraj or generating and consuming energy locally. Adopting Energy Swaraj will also help in skill development, livelihood creation, energy independence, local economy strengthening, and of course, climate change mitigation. The Event was coordinated by Prof Atul Narang and Vote of thanks was proposed by Prof Rahul Agarwal.

Plantation Programme
A plantation drive was organised by NSS Unit of Anand Engineering College Agra. The Drive was inaugurated by Dr. Shailendra Singh, Director, Anand Campus. Around 200 saplings of different plants were planted. The motto behind this mass plantation drive was to make students aware about the value of a green and healthy environment. This noble act will inspire the young generation to take initiative for the betterment of their surroundings. Dr. Rampal Singh, NSS officer of the College coordinated the event.

Anand Engineering College Agra in association with Help Agra and Radio City organized a free COVID-19 vaccination camp for its students, employees and their family members. The Vaccination camp was inaugurated by Dr. Shailendra Singh Director AEC. Director Sir says that Contribution of social organizations played an important role in the vaccination campaign. About 110 persons got their first and second doses of Vaccination.
