Guest Lecture on Solar Energy

Anand Engineering College Agra has organised a guest lecture on Solar Energy. The speaker was Dr Chetan Singh Solanki from IIT Mumbai.

Dr. Shailendra Singh, Director of the College welcomed Dr. Solanki by presenting a bouquet. He said that Dr. Chetan Singh Solanki, a professor from IIT Bombay, brand ambassador of Solar Energy for Govt. of MP, and Founder of the Energy Swaraj Foundation is a well known Environment activist who has pledged not to go home until 2030 and live & travel in the solar bus.

In his speech Dr Solanki said that Energy Swaraj – an Essence of Sustainability Energy is Everything and Everything is Energy. Gandhiji’s statement that “Earth has enough for everybody’s need but not for anybody’s greed” is as fundamental as the fact Sun rising from the East. However, in contradiction, the world economies are increasingly trying to produce more and consume more. This contradiction is fuelled mainly by fossil energy(80-85%), leading to another contradiction wherein increasing energy consumption is required to maintain economic growth, while rampant use of fossil energy is causing climate change. Climate change is threatening not only sustainable life but the sustainability of life on the planet. We have only 8-10 years left before we reach global warming of 1.5oC (IPCC report). Therefore “drastic” and “immediate” actions are required to mitigate climate change. The solution lies in adopting Energy Swaraj or generating and consuming energy locally. Adopting Energy Swaraj will also help in skill development, livelihood creation, energy independence, local economy strengthening, and of course, climate change mitigation. The Event was coordinated by Prof Atul Narang and Vote of thanks was proposed by Prof Rahul Agarwal.

E workshop on Investors Awareness

Department of Biotechnology, Anand Engineering College Agra in association with K G foundation New Delhi organised an e workshop on Investors Awareness.

E -Workshop was inaugurated by Dr. Shailendra Singh, Director Anand Engineering College. Mr. Kumar Gaurav, CA was the speaker of the workshop. Mr. Gaurav emphasized on the various points related to savings, investment, investments instruments and strategies. He also focuses on financial plannings,  Precautions for investment at this crucial Covid-19 time and shared knowledge on various investment products with possible risk factors.

One Day Seminar on Unleashing Entrepreneurship in India: Opportunities & Challenges with special focus on Innovation

Industry 4.0 at NPTI, Faridabad

Participants were very enthusiastic to learn about emerging technologies and their leaverages  of quality building and improving global life style and development indices. Dr. Shailendra Singh, Director of AEC technical campus thanked the NPTI for such a training program. He appreciated the participants and motivated them for participation in such knowledge adding future programs. Prof Raj Kumar Thenua,  faculty of ECE and Prof. Manoj Kumar Kushwaha, a faculty of ME accompanied the vsit. Dr. R. P. Sinha, HOD, ME and Prof. Atul Narang coordinated the program. It was held under the umbrella of Institute Industry Interaction Cell of SGI, headed by prof Senthil of HCST. Dr. Vijay Veer Singh coordinated and arranged the bus on the notice of very short time.

ML Workshop

“AI will create 2.3 million Machine Learning jobs by 2020, according to a recent reports .” One day expert led workshop on “Machine Learning” was scheduled on October 18, 2019 by Dept of Computer Application (MCA), HIMCS as our continued endeavour towards making our students skilled with contemporary learning and making them ready for future jobs. Machine learning is a main subfield of artificial intelligence because it enables computers to be brought into a mode of self-learning without explicitly programming it. When exposed to new data, computer programs learn, develop, change, and develop by themselves. Machine Learning is one of the hottest career options to be pursued

Python Workshop

शारदा ग्रुप के प्रतिष्ठित संस्थान हिन्दुस्तान काॅलेज ऑफ साइंस एण्ड टेक्नोलाॅजी के इलेक्ट्रॉनिक्स एण्ड कम्युनिकेषन विभाग में पाइथन और मषीन लर्निंग पर एक कार्यषाला का आयोजन किया गया। ये कार्यषाला आगरा के B2E Coders और दिल्ली से माई छत्री ने आयोजित की। इसमें छात्रों ने पाइथन प्रोग्रामिंग को गहराई से सीखा।

पाइथन एक हाईलेबल प्रोग्राममिंग लग्वेज है। कार्यक्रम के शुरूआत में संस्थान के निदेषक डाॅ. राजीव कुमार उपाध्याय ने माई छत्री के निदेषक श्री अमित गुप्ता का स्वागत किया और छात्रों को बताया कि पाइथन आपके प्लेसमेंट के लिए काफी उपयोगी साबित हो सकती है। उन्होंने छात्रों को इस तरह की कार्यषालायें करने के लिए प्रोत्साहित किया। वेब एप्लिकेषन बनाने के लिए एक सर्वर पर पाइथन का उपयोग किया जा सकता है। पाइथन डेटाबेस सिस्टम से जुड सकता है। यह फाइलों को पढ़ और संषोधित भी कर सकता है। पाइथन का उपयोग बड़े डेटा को संभालने और जटिल गणित करने के लिए किया जा सकता है।

पाइथन का उपयोग तेजी से प्रोटोटाइप के लिए या उत्पादन-तैयान साॅफ्टवेयर विकास के लिए किया जा सकता है। पाइथन विभिन्न प्लेटफार्मों पर काम करता है जैसे विंडोज,मैक, लाइनिक्स, रास्पबेरी पाई आदि। पाइथन एक ऐसी प्रोग्रोमिंग भाषा है जो डेवलपर को कम लाइनों में प्रोग्राम लिखने की अनुमति देता है। पाइथन का प्रोटोटाइप कम समय में हो सकता है। पाइथन के द्वारा छात्र-छात्राओं ने वेवडिजाइनिंग को भी गहराई से समझा। उन्होंने डेटा टाइप और टाइप कास्टिंग भी छात्र-छात्राओं को समझाया। उसके बाद छात्र-छात्राओं को मषीन लर्निंग के बारे में बताया जिसमें नंफी, पांडास, मैट प्लाट लिव और साइलिट आदि पाइथन लाइब्रेरी को समझा। अंतिम सत्र में छात्रों मषीन लर्निंग के प्रयोगों के बारे में समझा। जिसमें सुपरवाइज्ड और अनसुपरवाइज्ड मषीन लर्निंग और रिग्रेषन की धारणा को समझा।

मषीन लर्निंग कृतिम बुद्धिमता का एक अनुप्रयोग है जो सिस्टम को स्पष्ट रूप से प्रोग्राम किये बिना अनुभव से स्वचालित रूप से सीखने और सुधारने की क्षमता प्रदान करता है। मषीन लर्निंग उन कम्प्यूटर प्रोग्राम के विकास पर ध्यान केन्द्रित करता है जो डेटा तक पहुंच सकते हैं और इसे अपने लिए सीख सकते हैं। सीखने की प्रक्रिया टिप्पणियों या डेटा से शुरू होती है जैसे कि उदाहरण प्रत्यक्ष अनुभव या निर्देष ताकि डेटा में पैटर्न की खोज हो सके और हम जो उदाहरण प्रदान करते हैं, उसके आधार पर भविष्य में बेहतर निर्णय ले सकें।

कार्यक्रम के समन्वयक इलेक्ट्रॉनिक्स इंजीनियरिंग विभाग के श्री अजीत सिंह एवं हिमांषु प्रकाष राजपूत थे। इस अवसर पर इलेक्ट्रॉनिक्स कम्युनिकेषन इंजीनियरिंग विभाग के विभागाध्यक्ष प्रो. संजय जैन, श्री संजय सिंह, श्रीमती रूपाली महाजन, श्री मुंकुन्द लाल, श्रीमती दीप्ती गुप्ता आदि उपलब्ध थे।

Workshop on B-6 Technology in Automobile Engines

Mechanical Engineering Department of Anand Engineering College, Agra organized one day Workshop on “B-6 Technology in Automobile Engines” in association with Kalyan Mahindra Agra. Experts from Kalyan Mahindra demonstrated the B-6 Engine and explain the technological aspects of this engine and effect on our Environment. He told that NOx (Nitrogen Oxide) level will be brought down by a staggering 70% for Diesel engine and 25% for Petrol Engines in B6 Technology. The B-6 brings along a plethora of changes, most significant being the mandatory OBD (Onboard Diagnostics) for all vehicles.

Workshop on IoT with AI

Department of Computer Application (BCA) organised workshop in coordination with B.Tech(EE) department on 14.10.2019 @ “IoT with AI”. The resource person was Mr. Ritesh from Aptron solutions pvt. Ltd., Noida.
The session wasn’t  only interactive but was mesmerizing, as Mr. Ritesh demonstrated live controlling of things using controller and remotely perform action using image processing using latest Raspberry pi 3 processor. The students of both stream along with Faculty of both department took full advantage of this workshop. HOD of ME, Dr. R.P.Sinha along with some ME students were also present in the event.
The event was jointly coordinated by Mr. Amitabh Padmannabhan (HOD, BCA) Mr. Varun Kr. Gupta(BCA) and Mr. Puneet Kr. Chaudhary(B.Tech EE).
