TRAINING PROGRAMME STARTED AT MATHURA- HIMCS

The project SOS-Mathura was initiated on 11th January 2019 with the intention to bring about a positive change in lives and perceived image of auto drivers of Mathura who has developed the image of Lapkas (harassing tourists visiting Mathura both domestic and international) and subsequently develop a sustainable and healthy community through training and development interventions and support tourism in Mathura by converting them to aapkas (tourists friendly hosts).

Apart from behavioral sessions, art of living sessions, counseling and mentoring sessions with different resource persons of project SOS will be held for better understanding.

The SOS auto community is now a close knit group with sense of ownership, empathy and better business sense. Still a lot have to be taken up to develop more and more brand ambassadors for the city. The project aims for holistic development The project SOS is continuing its efforts towards developing better and responsible citizens amidst limiting inputs.
