Anand Engineering College received a grant from the Department of Scientific & Industrial Research, Ministry of Science & Technology, Government of India under Access to Knowledge (A2K+) event schemed to organize the National conclave on Hydrogen energy and Fuel cells: A vision for our future MSME’s.
Dr. Shailendra Singh, Director of Anand Engineering College, Agra thanked the Department of Scientific & Industrial Research, Ministry of Science & Technology, Government of India for selecting Anand Engineering for the A2K+ events scheme for organizing National mission topic hydrogen energy and fuel cells. The conclave has invited national speakers from Indian Institute of Technology Delhi, Indian Oil Corporation, Ministry of New & Renewable Energyand speakers from Industry and startups.
Sh Y.K. Gupta Ji, Vice Chairman Sharda Group of Institutions congratulated the Anand Engineering College Campus for taking national initiative to organize the hydrogen energy and fuel cells. The conclave will benefit students, faculty members, research scholars and MSME engineers.
Prof. V.K. Sharma, Executive Vice President mentioned that hydrogen is one of the lightest gases (14 times less dense than air), it has the highest energy content available in an abundant form in the universe, and is highly compatible (impact less) with the environment. Hence, hydrogen is expected to bring revolutionary changes in human mankind.
Dr. T. Senthil Siva Subramanian, Head Institute Industry Interface Program of Sharda Group of Institutions (Agra) and coordinator of the Conclave mentioned that this conclave is to discuss and explore the possibilities of sustainable future energy (Special focus on Hydrogen energy) and to create an awareness about the significance of hydrogen energy.
The conclave will open new avenues for MSME and startups in the field of hydrogen energy and fuel cell systems. This will bridge the gap between academia and MSMEs, startups and innovators. The conclave will lay a road map for several stakeholders.
