Anand Engineering College Technical Campus, in association with Lokhitam Charitable Blood Centre Agra, organized a “Special Blood Donation Camp” as per the directives of the Government of Uttar Pradesh. The camp aimed to promote the spirit of voluntary blood donation and create awareness about the importance of donating blood regularly. The camp was held at the Anand Engineering College Technical Campus.

The primary objective of the blood donation camp was to create awareness about the significance of voluntary blood donation and encourage people to donate blood regularly. The camp aimed to achieve the following objectives:

  • To ensure a steady supply of blood for emergency situations in hospitals.
  • To create awareness among people about the importance of donating blood.
  • To encourage young people to donate blood and make it a regular habit.
  • To dispel myths and misconceptions surrounding blood donation.

The blood donation camp was organized with the help of Lokhitam Charitable Blood Centre Agra, a well-known blood bank in the region. The camp was conducted under the guidance of trained medical professionals who ensured that all safety protocols were followed.

The camp was set up in Dr. Sarvpalli Radhakrishnan Hall at the Anand Engineering College Technical Campus, where donors were screened before the donation. The donors underwent a thorough medical check-up to ensure that they were fit to donate blood. The blood bank staff collected the blood using sterile equipment and stored it under appropriate conditions.

The blood donation camp received an overwhelming response from students, faculty, and staff of the Anand Engineering College Technical Campus. More than 75 people volunteered to donate blood at the camp. The donors were from diverse backgrounds and included students, faculty members, and administrative staff of the college.

The Special Blood Donation Camp organized by Anand Engineering College Technical Campus in association with Lokhitam Charitable Blood Centre Agra was a huge success. The camp helped to create awareness about the importance of voluntary blood donation and encouraged people to donate blood regularly. The camp was a step towards fulfilling the goal of ensuring a steady supply of blood for emergency situations in hospitals.

Dr. Shailendra Singh, Director of Anand Engineering College Technical Campus inaugurated the blood donation camp in presence of Deputy Registrar SGI Mr. Manish Gupta, Registrar of campus Mr. Dharm Singh, Mr. Mohd Arif, Mr. Vikas Sharma, Mr. Gaurav Sikarwar, Mr. Vinod Chaudhari. Dean of Student welfare Mr. Atul Narang was the coordinator of the event.
