Electronics and Communication Engineering course involves the study of transmission of information across different channels like optical fibre, coax cable etc. Electronics and Communication Engineers work on designing the equipments such as switches, routers, fibre optics, multiplexers and electronic switching systems. Programme Overview: B.Tech Electronics and Communication Engineering at Anand Engineering College (AEC) is a 4-year undergraduate degree program. The program integrates knowledge based on digital electronics and logical design, fundamentals of communication engineering, electronic circuits, integrated circuits, VLSI, control systems, applied electromagnetic theory and computer Architecture. Devices designed by electronics engineers feature all aspects of modern life including computers, laptops, smart phones, robotics, satellites, internet, digital TVs, security systems etc.
Electronics and communication engineering course at Anand Engineering College (AEC) begins by providing students with an understanding of the basic principles of electronics engineering while developing their mathematical and computing skills. Modules then combine these fundamental elements into systems that further meet the need of particular applications. Project work is also incorporated as a part of the modules.
Programme Structure : During the first year of B.Tech Electronics and Engineering course, students learn about basic engineering techniques such as mathematics, physics, chemistry and engineering drawing, to name a few.
From second year of the programme, students start to learn about the core electronics and communication engineering, covering the areas of circuits, operational amplifiers and basic circuit analysis skills.
3rd Year introduces students to the propagation of high-speed signals around the electronics circuits and systems and principle of noise within the signals.
In 4th year, engineers are taught about the entire life cycle of a product – ranging from designing and computer modelling to the hardware device. Students also get real world exposure by working in teams that involve taking a problem, capturing the requirements, creating the solution and simulating it using the industry-standard software tools before the implication in hardware device.
