Valedictory Function of Induction Programme
Anand Engineering College Agra organized a 7 days Induction Program for its newly admitted students for the session 2020-21. On December 10, 2020 the Valedictory function of Induction Program was organised in C V Raman Hall . The program was started with lighting the lamp before Ma Saraswati, the Goddess of Knowledge. Honorable Director, Dr. Shailendra Singh congratulated all the students and their parents for becoming a member of Anand Family. He told the students about the college facilities and other general rules and regulations. He also presented the achievements of the students in various co-curricular activities. He motivated the students and asked to come out from the comfort zone and work hard. He also suggested the students to keep in touch with the alumni of the college.
Mr. Manish Babu Agarwal, First Year Coordinator said that good education, decency, good attitude and communication skills are important aspects for a successful career.
Induction Programme-2020
An Online orientation program was conducted to welcome newly admitted students in first year at Anand Engineering College Agra, the prestigious college of Sharda Group of Institutions. The program was organized according to the prescribed schedule of Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University, Lucknow.
Dr. Shailendra Singh, Director of the college congratulated all the students and their parents for being a part of ANAND Family. In his welcome address he brief the students about the college facilities like hostel, medical, transport, library and laboratories. He also presented the achievements of the students of the college. He threw some light on annual celebrations, Counseling System, Training and Placement, Training and Development and Cultural Activities. He motivated the students and asked to come out from the comfortable zone and work hard. He also suggested the students to keep in touch with the alumni of the college.
Prof. V. K Sharma, Executive Vice President, Sharda Group of Institutions thanked all the parents to express their faith in the college. He said that good education, decency, good attitude and communication skills are very important aspects for a successful career. He advised the students to be self governed and be disciplined throughout their life.
Dr Manish Babu Agarwal, Coordinator of First Year interacted with the parents and students and told that the Induction Program will help the students to understand the need and responsibilities towards the family, society and nature along with their core subjects.

Placement in Virtusa Corporation (P) Ltd.
The student of Hindustan College, Mr. Utkarsh Srivastava (2021 batch) B.Tech (Computer Science) was selected by the company “Virtusa Corporation Private Limited””amidst stressful environment of epidemic COVID-19.
The selection process included students from Hindustan College and Anand Engineering College. The company selected the student as a software developer on a package of 4.00 lakh. Keeping in mind the safety of students, the entire selection process has been done online, in which the company took an online aptitude test, technical test and personal interview.

Jan Andolan for Covid-19
Anand Engineering College Agra celebrated Jan Andolan for Covid -19 on October 9, 2020. Jan Andolan campaign was launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on October 8, 2020. Mr. Dharam Singh, Registrar took a pledge with all the members of ANAND FAMILY to wear a mask, follow physical distancing and maintain hand hygiene during daily activities.
Dr. Shailendra Singh, Director AEC told that the aim of this Jan Andolan campaign is to encourage the participation of all the employees of AEC to protect themselves from Covid-19.
Anand Campus is Covid Tested and Covid Free Premises
Anand Engineering College Technical Campus Agra is recognized as Corona Tested and Corona Free Campus of District Agra. College authorities organized a series of COVID Testing Camp for its employees in association with Local Administration and CMO Office Agra.
Dr. Shailendra Singh, Director, Anand Engineering College told that AKTU is going to organize B.Tech Final Year Examination and UPSEE Examination in near future at the College campus. To prepare the College for these examinations each and every employee were tested for COVID-19. In addition to Corona Testing, Sanitization drives were also made to properly sanitize the whole campus.
Corona Testing Camp Organised At Anand Campus
Anand Engineering College Agra organised Corona Testing Camp for its employees on August 8, 2020. This camp was organized by AEC in association with Primary Health Centre Achhnera and PHC Runakta. Camp was inaugurated by Mr. Dharam Singh Registrar AEC and Dr Lawania, Dy CMO, PHC Achhnera.
Dr. Shailendra Singh, Director Anand Engineering College Technical Campus extended his gratitude toward District Administration Agra for organizing this camp in Anand Campus.

Industry 4.0 at NPTI, Faridabad
Participants were very enthusiastic to learn about emerging technologies and their leaverages of quality building and improving global life style and development indices. Dr. Shailendra Singh, Director of AEC technical campus thanked the NPTI for such a training program. He appreciated the participants and motivated them for participation in such knowledge adding future programs. Prof Raj Kumar Thenua, faculty of ECE and Prof. Manoj Kumar Kushwaha, a faculty of ME accompanied the vsit. Dr. R. P. Sinha, HOD, ME and Prof. Atul Narang coordinated the program. It was held under the umbrella of Institute Industry Interaction Cell of SGI, headed by prof Senthil of HCST. Dr. Vijay Veer Singh coordinated and arranged the bus on the notice of very short time.
