Apply Online & Eligibility


  • Candidates applying online through Sharda Group’s website will be routed to self application form. After successfully filling the application form, the system will generate a unique ID & Password (Numeric) which will be candidate’s unique identification number throughout the admission process.
  • An auto generated email will be sent to the candidate’s email id, containing the following information viz. Welcome note & Unique ID. Post generation of unique ID, the candidate has to attend a Written Test & an Interview. Selected candidates based on the Cumulative performance of 12th, Written Test, Interview & Rank in a competitive examination would be offered admission.



75% of the seats are filled by the University through UP State Entrance Examination (UPSEE) & 10% through JEE -Mains Counselling depending on the rank obtained by the student.

Counselling sessions are held in major cities as per dates announced in leading Newspapers.Balance 15% seats(Management Quota) are filled by the colleges through Direct admissions as per AKTU(Formerly UPTU) guidelines

All B. Tech- I year
  • Rank in UPSEE-18
  • Rank in JEE-MAINS-18
  • (10+2) with Physics & Maths. and any one out of Chem./ Bio./Computer Science with 50% marks.

Note: for B.Tech.(Bio-Tech.), Physics & Chem. with either Maths or Bio. with 50% marks is eligible.

B.Tech II year – Direct Admission
  • Rank in UPSEE-18
  • Diploma in Engg. with 60% or B.Sc. (with maths) 60% marks.
  • (10+2) in any discipline with 50% marks.
  • (10+2) with 50% marks and must have maths as a subject in 12th. 
  • Rank in UPSEE-18
  • Rank in CAT/MAT
  • Graduation in any discipline with 50% marks
  • Rank in UPSEE-18
  • Graduation with 50% marks; & 10+2 with Maths with 50% marks.
M. Tech. Courses

M.Tech Courses – All M. Tech Engineering and Technology courses, offered at Agra and Mathura Campuses are approved by AICTE and affiliated to the AKTU University, Lucknow.

  • Rank in FATE-(AKTU)
  • GATE percentile of 85% desirable.
  • Minimum 60% in B. Tech from an AICTE approved institution (relaxation for sponsored candidates), in a related domain.

Lapsed Seats

Lapsed seats are those where in the students who opted for a college during counseling were offered admission by AKTU but did not join subsequently or withdraw, thereby creating a set of vacant seats which are termed as Lapsed seats.

These seats may be filled by subsequent counseling of AKTU or the University may authorize the college to fill up the seats, if the counseling sessions are over in that case the procedure of Management Quota seats applies.
